Too Much to Do in The Rocky Mountain National Park and Not Enough Time

For the first visit, your choice of Rocky Mountain National Park activities are important for you and the family. But even when you return or if you become a frequent visitor, you will always have so many activities that you can learn something new each time.

Bring Your Bike with You

The whole family can enjoy biking around Rocky Mountain National Park. There are hundreds of miles of roads, twisting around the mountains and providing you with an enormous number of photo opportunities.

You will need to check with the officials to find out if you can take your bikes off road, as this may not be allowed at the time of your visit, but will not detract from your enjoyment either way.

Horseback riding

Horseback riding is extremely popular as one of the leading Rocky Mountain National Park activities. Hundreds of miles of trails can provide you with a different route every day.

You can choose to ride all day, within the capability of your skills, or choose to ride for an hour and enjoy the wilderness of the National Park.

Fishing options

For many, this Rocky Mountain National Park activity will never get old. Whether you are staying at Grand Lake or elsewhere, there are around 40 lakes and various Alpine streams that are good for fishing.

Wherever you fish, it is unlikely to be busy, and you may have a good quality and healthy hike to reach your location, having left your cabin or hotel well behind you.

You can rent all your equipment just outside the park, but you will need a license and understand the rules and regulations before beginning your entertainment. If you have never fished before, this is like moving from 0 to 100 in the same day!
