Lakefront Movie | 8:30pm | Brought to you by Lupine Village at Grand Lake | Set up your blankets to watch a free movie at lakefront park. This family-friendly favorite is sure to make both tourists and locals laugh! Complimentary fresh popcorn, and drinks available to purchase.


-Saturday, August 20th-

Buffalo Run 5k | 8:00am | Start at the Grand Lake Center to race 5 kilometers to the finish line at the Center. Register here: https://buffalorun.itsyourrace.com/register/

Kids Zone | 10:00am-2:00pm| Western Games for kids of all ages in Town Park near the playground. Prizes for best dressed cow poke!

Pie Bake Off | 10:00am – 12:00pm | Bakers of all ages are encouraged to compete in our first ever Buffalo Days pie bake off! Registration is now open for Adults and Youth categories. Registered Bakers will receive FREE entrance to the Lakefront Music Fest where winners will be awarded cash prizes and Buffalo Days merchandise!

Corn Hole Tournament | 10:00am-2:00pm| Register your team and compete for your own Buffalo Days branded board set! Courts set up at town park next to the Kids Zone in Town Park. Space fills up quickly, so don’t delay in registering your team HERE. Pre-registration is full, but we have 4 walk up spots available at a first come first serve basis.

Jail Photo Booth | 10:00am-3:00pm | Take memorable western photos in our old town jail on Grand Avenue by Town Park. Hosted by Taking Steps for Cancer (Grand County’s only Cancer Support Non-Profit)

Buffalo BBQ on the Lakefront | 3:30pm | Sagebrush BBQ & Grill is cooking up a menu of real Buffalo BBQ. Serving until sold out! Beer, wine and signature drinks in keepsake buffalo days tumblers also available.

Axe Throwing Trailer | 3:30pm – 9:30pm | Show off your axe throwing skills and earn bragging rights with your friends! The trailer will be set up by the Lakefront Music Festival.

Music on the Lakefront | 3:30pm-9:30pm | Get ready to dance the night away with the lake sparkling behind the bands! Gates open at 3:00 at the Gene Stover Lakefront Park for the BBQ and Music Festival. The music kicks off at 3:30pm. Let’s get dancing! *$10 cover charge to enter the concert/buffalo bbq/liquor area/axe throwing area. Kids 10 and under are free.

Cowboy Church at the Gazebo | 9:00am | Celebrate and rejoice the cowboy way with an eclectic mix of music, poetry, and humor with Pastor Newly Holmes.

Buffalo Herd Parade | 12:00pm | Follow the herd down Grand Avenue with floats, horses, costumes, and dressed-up pups! Parade participants must complete an application, which can be downloaded here. Please email to us at glinfo@grandlakechamber.com or print and drop off at the Visitor’s Center.

Wild Western Water Zone hosted by Grand Lake Fire | 1:00pm – 2:30pm, following The Parade | Gene Stover Lakefront Park | Cool off Grand Lake Fire Style! Kids and non-kids of all ages are welcome to come romp in the water zone
