Join us for our annual educational event on conservation and the night sky!
This year’s Songs and Stars event will be held at Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge in Grand Lake, in partnership with the Town of Grand Lake and the Grand County Astronomy Club! Enjoy live music, a dinner buffet, and presentations and lessons on the value of land conservation for sustaining and protecting our night skies as well as what you can do at home and in your town to reduce light pollution and encourage darker skies at night. The Town of Grand Lake will present on their campaign for Dark Sky certification, and we will be guided through the stars by the Grand County Astronomy Club. Bring binoculars or a telescope if you would like — there will be telescopes to use courtesy of the Grand County Astronomy Club, and plenty to see with just your eyes!
