Celebrate July 4th In Grand Lake: Fireworks, Pancakes, & Community Fun!

In addition to being a hotspot for outdoor adventure, visitors flock to Grand Lake in July for an array of fun community events and activities, starting with a bang on July 4 with the town’s much anticipated annual fireworks display over the lake.

Folks start setting up their chairs and picnic blankets in Lakefront Park early in the day for a front row seat to the show, which starts shortly after sunset around 10 p.m. Watching from the water is also a favorite pastime, and public boat ramps stay open late for the occasion.

Another can’t-miss Independence Day tradition is the Rotary Club’s 49th Annual All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast fundraiser from 7-11 a.m. on July 4 in Heckert Pavilion (Town Park). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (purchase at the door–cash only!) and all proceeds directly benefit the local community of Grand Lake.
