Timed Entry Permits
A Timed Entry Permit is required from mid-May to mid-October during the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to access any part of Rocky Mountain National Park, including the outlying trailheads at East Inlet (Adams Falls), North Inlet and East Shore. This system was introduced to manage crowd levels, protect natural resources, and ensure a better visitor experience during peak months.
-
Permits are not needed if you enter before 9:00am or after 2:00pm.
-
Please note that a timed entry reservation is required in addition to your entrance pass.
-
Timed Entry Permits must be purchased at recreation.gov and are not available to purchase in person at the ranger stations or visitor centers.
-
The Bear Lake Corridor requires a separate pass from the rest of the park. Make sure to select the correct option.
