Celebrate Independence Day in Grand Lake
America turns 250 this July 4th, and Grand Lake, Colorado is celebrating - just not with fireworks this year.
Due to severe drought conditions and a Stage 2 Fire Ban in place, there will be no Fourth of July fireworks show in Grand Lake this year. We know that's disappointing, but there's still plenty of fun to be had in Grand Lake for the holiday weekend! The Town of Grand Lake is stepping up with a full day of family-friendly activities including live music on the lakefront, cornhole games on the beach, and a festive boat parade to show off our patriotic pride!
And don't miss the Grand Lake Rotary Club's beloved Pancake Breakfast and Bingo in the Park, plus special events and activities at the historic Grand Lake Lodge, too. There's no better place to celebrate America's 250th anniversary! Follow us @GoGrandLake and @GoGrandLocal on social media for all the local happenings.
