Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Join us in Grand Lake to celebrate Memorial Day by honoring the men and women who served in the U.S. military and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. The day starts with a patriotic parade through downtown Grand Lake--featuring veterans, first responders, rodeo royalty and various community groups--followed by a flag ceremony and 21-gun salute in Town Park, presented by the Grand County Veterans and American Legion.
Don't forget to stop by Veteran's Park, where you can spend some time enjoying the lush landscaping and pay respect at the monument and memorial brick walkway. While Memorial Day weekend marks the exciting start to summer season, we encourage residents and visitors alike to take time for remembrance and come together in shared respect and gratitude for the service members of our community and beyond.
