The Adams Falls section of the East Inlet Trail offers a brief and easy hike to a scenic waterfall. Starting from the East Inlet Trailhead, the path winds through a forested area with minimal elevation changes. This trail is open year round and accessible in the winter months with winter boots or snowshoes. As with all trails located in RMNP, dogs are not allowed.
The trail leads to a viewpoint overlooking Adams Falls, where water cascades over a series of rocks before hitting a stone wall and making an impressive 90 degree turn. This spot provides a clear view of the waterfall, ideal for photography and enjoying the natural scenery.
The return trip follows the same route, making it a quick and rewarding detour from the main East Inlet Trail.
