Save the Date: Buffalo Days Celebrates 150 Years of Colorado

August 14 - 16, 2026

Buffalo Days is a three-day celebration rooted in Grand Lake tradition, bringing the community together for a lively summer weekend in honor of Colorado’s 150th anniversary.

Throughout the weekend, expect a mix of friendly competition, live music, good food, and family-friendly fun in the heart of town. Signature events include the always-popular cornhole tournament, live performances, classic Buffalo Days eats, and the Cowpoke Parade down Grand Avenue - a longtime favorite that captures the spirit of the Old West and Colorado’s frontier history.

Whether you come for the competition, the music, the parade, or simply the chance to celebrate 150 years of Colorado in one of its most historic mountain towns, Buffalo Days delivers a weekend built around connection, tradition, and community pride.

Full event details and schedules will be released closer to the celebration.
